Balton designs, curates and builds made-to-measure furniture, sized to every space. It takes care of the whole process — planning, 3D visualisation, manufacturing, installation — for homes, offices, hotels.
The studio
Balton is not simply a place to buy furniture. It is a full-service furnishing partner for homes, commercial spaces and hospitality venues.
Depending on the needs of each space, we help shape the right proposal, choose the materials and create furniture that meets the requirements of every project. From the initial idea and the curation of every detail to manufacturing and installation, we take care of the entire process with consistency and a personal approach.
Whether you are furnishing a new space or refreshing an existing one, we offer solutions tailored to the needs and dimensions of your home. Sofas and corner sofas, armchairs, dining sets, bookcases, wall units, bedrooms and bespoke pieces can all be created around what you actually need.
We deliver complete furnishing solutions for commercial and hospitality spaces. From an office or corporate space to a hotel or guesthouse, we design and build furniture with function, aesthetics and durability in everyday use in mind.
Balton works closely with architectural practices, interior decorators and designers, bringing to life furniture and bespoke pieces that are part of a wider design scheme. We work from the project’s drawings and specifications, review the details and materials together, and make sure the final result stays true to the original idea.
Cost & value
There is often an impression that a piece of furniture made specifically for a space is, by definition, the more expensive option. In reality, its price is not determined by whether it is made to order, but by how it is designed and built.
At Balton we make the furniture we propose, with an emphasis on quality materials, sound construction and functionality. This allows us to offer solutions tailored to every space, with a balance of quality and price that delivers real value.
A clear picture before every choice
Dimensions, materials, customisation options and production time are discussed and agreed from the start, so you know exactly what each proposal includes before you go ahead.
Transparent pricing
For our products, the price depends on the size, shape and materials you choose. You can see the available options and what they cost, so you have a clear picture with no unexpected extras along the way.
Designed for your own space
Made to measure doesn’t just mean you can change the dimensions. It means the piece can be adapted to your space, to the way you use it and to what you really need — from proportions and form to materials and details.
The method, as a chain
01Curation
Curation is a core part of what we do. We don’t treat each piece as an isolated choice, but as part of a space that has to work and feel coherent.
We consider proportions, materials, textures and the way different elements relate to one another. From a single piece to furnishing an entire space, every choice has its place and its purpose.
That is why our proposals are not simply based on whatever happens to be available. We select, combine and adapt solutions according to the space, its needs and the aesthetic we set out to create.
02Made to order
There’s no need to settle for a set size or a ready-made configuration. At Balton we can adapt the dimensions, materials and details of a piece so that it fits your space better and suits the way you want to use it.
From a sofa or a table to a bookcase or a bespoke piece, every option is considered as a whole. We discuss the possibilities, choose the materials together and arrive at the solution that best serves that particular space.
The process
1
Consultation
We start with a conversation about the space, your needs and what you want to create.
2
Quotation
Once the main choices are settled, we present the proposal together with its cost and timeline.
3
3D visualisation
Where needed, we create a 3D visualisation so you have a fuller picture of the final result before production begins.
4
Manufacturing
Once every detail is finalised, we build the piece exactly as agreed.
5
Installation
We take care of delivery and installation in your space.
Materials and finishes are an essential part of every piece. At our showroom you can see fabrics, leathers and a range of material options up close, so you get a real sense of their texture, colour and quality before you decide. If you can’t make it to the showroom or you live outside Athens, we’ll send the samples to you so you can see them in your own space.
033D visualisation
3D visualisation gives you a complete picture of the space and the choices made before we move on to production.
Together we can review the dimensions, layout, materials, colours and details of the proposal, make any changes needed and arrive at a result that truly reflects you.
The visualisation serves as a guide to the final result, not just a presentation of an idea. And because real quality lies in the materials, the textures and the details of the craftsmanship, the finished piece is often even more beautiful than what you see on screen.
04Installation
Installation is the final stage of every project. The Balton team handles delivery and installation, making sure everything is put in place exactly as designed.
We know the details of the build and the space from the very beginning, so the transition from design to the finished result is smooth. And if any adjustment is needed during installation, we can assess it and act straight away.
01
Private residences
Every home is different, and an off-the-shelf piece often doesn’t quite fit the dimensions or needs of a room. Balton designs and builds furniture for private residences that can be tailored to the requirements of each space.
Bookcases, entrance furniture, tables, leather sofas, fabric sofas and bespoke pieces can be made to the dimensions you need, with a choice of materials, colours and finishes.
It might be a single piece or the furnishing of several rooms in your home. We discuss together what the space needs, look at the available options and arrive at a solution that works both practically and aesthetically.
02
Workspaces
Balton handles the planning and manufacturing of furniture for workspaces, from reception areas and meeting rooms to workstations and bespoke installations.
Every space has different needs and its own way of working. We discuss the project’s requirements together and propose solutions that suit the layout, use and aesthetic of the space. Materials, colours and details can be adapted so that the final look reflects the identity of the business.
From the first conversation to manufacturing and installation, there is a clear plan for how the project will progress, with an agreed cost and timeline.
03
Hotels & guest accommodation
Balton furnishes hotels and guest accommodation, from reception and communal areas to guest rooms and bespoke installations.
Every space has its own requirements. Together we look at how it functions, its aesthetic and how it is used day to day, in order to shape a proposal that fits the overall identity of the property.
Before production begins, the options can be presented through 3D visualisations and material samples, giving a complete picture of the final result. Once the proposal is finalised, we move on to manufacturing and fitting it out consistently across every space.
We pay particular attention to materials and build quality, because furniture in a hospitality setting is used every day and needs to keep its look and functionality over time.

Balton works with architectural practices, interior decorators and designers to build furniture and bespoke pieces that form part of a wider project.

04
Manufacturing & installation
We handle manufacturing and installation, in step with the project’s progress and schedule.
Our collaboration aims to make delivery simpler and better organised. The original idea and the design direction of the project remain yours – we help make sure they are translated faithfully into the finished build.
Partnerships with interior decorators
Balton works with interior designers and decorators to build furniture that fits into an established aesthetic scheme. It might be a sofa sized to the room, a bookcase, a table or a bespoke piece that calls for specific dimensions, materials and details.
We start from your proposal — the drawings, samples or palette you have chosen — and work out together the best way to bring it to life. We can take on a single piece or the furnishing of several spaces, depending on the needs of the project.
Materials to your specification
Fabrics, leathers, woods, metals and finishes are chosen in collaboration with you, to suit the aesthetic and requirements of the project.
From a single piece to a complete fit-out
We can take on a specific piece or several items for a space, keeping the same choices and the same aesthetic throughout.
Samples before production
Where needed, we prepare material and finish samples before going into production, so the final choices are clear from the start.
Our collaboration adapts to the way you work and to each individual project, so that the finished piece follows the design direction you have chosen.

Balton takes on projects for private residences, workspaces, hotels and guest accommodation. Every project has different needs and requirements, which is why each proposal is tailored to the space, its use and the scale of the build.
It means the piece is built from scratch to the dimensions dictated by the space, with the materials, finishes and mechanisms its intended use calls for. You are not simply choosing a size and a fabric from the options in a catalogue.
The timeframe of each project depends on its scale and requirements. From the start of the process you are kept clearly informed about the schedule, so you know the next steps all the way to delivery and installation.
The details and specifications of every build are kept on file at Balton, so when an addition or replacement is needed we can refer back to the original piece and keep the same aesthetic and specifications as closely as possible.
